Social Media Management & Coordination
As Sr. Social Media & Engagement Coordinator for the City of Detroit, I developed and managed monthly content calendars, collaborated with teams to promote city events, and mentored interns in social media best practices. In my role as Social Media Distribution Manager, I led the city’s social media strategy, managed daily content across multiple platforms for both the City and Mayor Duggan, and oversaw a team to ensure an effective and engaging online presence. The social media platforms managed for both accounts include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. The City of Detroit maintains official accounts on these platforms to keep residents informed and connected.
Detroit Solar Energy Panel Campaign
I created and developed a social media strategy for our @cityofdetroit Solar Energy Campaign. The City of Detroit announced the first three neighborhoods to host solar arrays: Van Dyke/Lynch, Gratiot/Findlay, and State Fair. 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit: A Record-Breaking Celebration of Football and Community Impact
Spearheaded and managed the NFL Draft in Detroit social media campaign, driving record-breaking engagement and helping attract over 775,000 fans—the largest attendance in NFL Draft history.
